A Southeast Hospital hallway will become a mini art gallery thanks to the 2013 “Art for the Health of it” exhibit. The artwork will be displayed outside the Surgical Waiting room on the Hospital’s first floor.

The annual exhibit focuses on utilizing art as a “calming agent in a stress-leaden environment while demonstrating the health and healing benefits of artistic images and expression.

The exhibition will open with a public reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 24. The Best of Show award and four Juror’s awards will be presented at the reception. The artwork will remain on display through April 25.
