The U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Wild Horse and Burro Program will host a Wild Horse and Burro Adoption.

This is an opportunity to get the horse you have always wanted for a reasonable cost. The adoption is on a first come, first served basis. Since the Adopt-A-Wild Horse and Burro Program began in 1971, more than 230,000 animals have been adopted nationwide.

The Wild Horse and Burro Adoption will take place with a preview from 2 - 7 p.m. on Friday February 22 and the adoption from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 23 at Flickerwood Arena in Fruitland.
