During a typical winter Utah experiences some of the worst air quality in the nation. Dr. Brian Moench and the Utah Physicians for a Healthy Environment are currently suing Rio Tinto for their contribution to Utah's pollution. They argue that Salt Lake County is already in violation of the EPA and that a mining expansion will only make things worse. Dr. Moench joins us, along with Bryce Bird, the director of the Utah Division of Air Quality to discuss Kennecott and how best to keep Utah's air clean.
