BYU is shutting down their Women's Research Institute and students, alumni, and community members want to save it. The Institute, which has existed since 1978, is home to BYU's women's studies minor and has served as the outpost for many of the LDS Church's women's programs. Tamrika speaks with Kate Kelly, an alumna and current law student at American University, and Sara Vranes, a BYU senior, who is heading up petition efforts to save the center.
