SALT LAKE CITY, UT (krcl) - (rebroadcast) The passage of Proposition 8 in California ignited a firestorm of controversy in 2008. Central to the debate was the funding, mobilization and political involvement of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Reed Cowan's documentary, 8: The Mormon Proposition, which follows the LDS paper trail, will be released this weekend in Salt Lake City.
