RadioActive! Nov 10 Wealth Inequality Gap
(2011-11-11)
(krcl) - Older households in 2011 are making much stronger economic gains relative to their younger counterparts. The median income of older-age households over the past few decades has increased at four times the rate of those headed by households aged under-35. Nick welcomes Rick Fry from the Pew Research Center to discuss the results of their new study: The Rising Age Gap in Economic Well-Being. The report tracks wealth, income and poverty trends in different age groups over the past 25 years. Later in the program we talk with Isaac and Seth from Occupy SLC to see how things are going with the new Occupy expansion at the Gallivan Center. www.pewsocialtrends.org, www.occupyslc.org © Copyright 2012, krcl
