Queer theorist Kathryn Stockton argues that "children are thoroughly, shockingly queer". In her new book, The Queer Child or Growing Sideways in the Twentieth Century, Stockton explores the strangeness of the child queered by color, money,innocence and Freud. Troy and Kathryn discuss the backwards births of ghostly gay children, as haunting specters that lay suspended between the pages of twentieth century literature and contemporary film.
