In 2001, The Wall Street Journal named Utah one of the most gerrymandered states in the nation. Some critics believe these lines are drawn to insure the political status quo. A bi-partisan group of citizens have rallied to form the Fair Boundaries Initiative, a proposed independent citizen review board to assist the Legislature draw re-districting lines. The efforts have come under fire by members of the Utah Legislature. Gena welcomes Nikki Norton and Merrill Nelson from Fair Boundaries, as well as District 74's Representative David Clark, who opposes the initiative. www.fairboundaries.org
