Kelly Ashkettle, staff writer for IN Magazine, talks about Halloween costumes. Salt Lake City, UT Not every kid gets dressed up as a leprechaun for St. Patrick's Day, but I did. I was also an elf for Christmas and for Halloween I've been everything from Luke Skywalker to Oogie Boogie. It's no wonder that I developed a love for all things theatrical. Over the years my mother and I have designed many a costume for both the stage and to indulge my desire to become the characters I adore.
