Show your neighborhood, civic, and regional pride by being an active member of your community!
KPLU's Think Local encourages people in the Pacific Northwest to learn more about the people, places and services in their community. It features articles on food, culture, and sustainability, as well as recipes, tips and local events. At KPLU we work with a large number of small locally-owned businesses as underwriters. We believe that these businesses represent the heart of our communities and neighborhoods.
We created Think Local to encourage you, our listeners, to eat locally grown or produced food, support locally owned businesses, and think about where you spend your time and money.
On these pages you will find a directory of businesses that are both locally owned, and that support KPLU - your favorite radio station, right? You can also access recipes that use local foods, articles from the Washington Landscape and Nursery Association, and other contributors.
We welcome your feedback anytime - just send an email to thinklocalsea(@) gmail dot com.
