Hazardous Waste Changing your habits to a more eco-aware lifestyle can produce some waste through the process of eliminating chemicals from your home. When you find yourself with cabinets of harmful cleaning supplies or a garage full of lawnmower oil (from your switch to a push mower, of course!), the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) facility will save your space. Anything marked Danger, Poison, Caution, or Warning qualifies, along with drain openers, pesticides, CFLs and oil-based paint. Neighborhood events collect HHW seasonally, but year-round you can deliver the cans and chems to 12550 Stone Avenue North or 13800 SE 32nd Street in Bellevue.
