Growing Toxic Threat to Orcas SEATTLE, WA (KPLU) - Puget Sound orca whales carry a lot of toxins that have accumulated in their bodies. It comes from eating contaminated fish. That's despite the fact that many of those chemicals haven't been used for decades. Now a prominent researcher says a common fire retardant could pose an even larger threat.
