(KPLU) - Library card catalogs are now relics of history. Can printed books be far behind? The Information Age relies on computers, and this is a problem for public schools. Conventional laptop computers are too fragile and expensive to hand out to each student.

Mark Anderson is KPLU's technology commentator and is also CEO of Project Inkwell, which is setting a standard for educational computing. He spoke with KPLU's Dave Meyer.
