Art Thiel: Huskies a Pleasant Surprise at Midseason

SEATTLE, WA (KPLU) - The University of Washington football team lost to Arizona State Saturday, 24-17. Halfway through the season, the Huskies are 3-4. It's a big accomplishment, considering they were winless last year...and considering who they've beaten this season - namely USC, who was ranked 3rd in the country at the time. But sports commentator Art Thiel tells KPLU's Kirsten Kendrick that there's more to the team's success than just their record.
