Tukwila's school district has been called the most diverse in the nation. Advance-placement students at the city's Foster High School are using that as part of a bid to lure President Obama as their commencement speaker this spring. They produced a video highlighting the 68 different countries where members of Foster's student body were born - and submitted essays answering the President's questions. Obama recently challenged the nation's high schools to show him why they should be a model for others - and how they're preparing more students for college and careers.© Copyright 2012, KPLU
