Oil Lessons SEATTLE, WA (KPLU) - It's a case of lessons learned, the sate is hiring five new oil spill prevention inspectors to oversee the transfer of oil from refineries and fuel depots to ships. As KPLU environment reporter Steve Krueger tells us, the move is a direct result of a major spill that fouled the Puget Sound.
