Desperately Seeking the Airport Light Rail Shuttle
SEATTLE
(KPLU) -
By December, travelers arriving at SeaTac Airport will be able to hop on the Link light rail and ride straight to downtown Seattle. But for now, you've got to take a shuttle bus from the airport to the light rail station in Tukwila. Recently KPLU environment reporter Liam Moriarty landed at SeaTac after a 10-hour international flight. It took him about a half-hour of dragging 75 pounds of luggage around the airport and asking multiple airport employees to finally locate that shuttle. Sound Transit says they're aware of the problem. They say they're working with the port to get some signs put up to make it easier for jet-lagged travelers to make that last leg of the trip to the Tukwila light rail station.
