Crowds Expected for Light Rail Opening
(2009-07-14)
(KPLU) -
Sound Transit expects so many people at the unveiling of light rail in Seattle this weekend that it's hired a special events company to help handle the crowds.

Sound Transit is kicking off its Link light rail service with free rides on Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Jugglers, comedians and musicians have been hired to
entertain people waiting in line.

Riders are being encouraged to bike, bus or walk to the stations because most of the stations don't have dedicated parking.
