Beyond the Blues: Blues Harmonica in Jazz

When you hear the word "harmonica," you may think of blues music. And rightly so. The instrument is most often heard in the context of blues. But some of the best blues harmonica players in the business have also performed jazz songs. And that's the topic of a list that KPLU has compiled for our Web site and NPR's music Web site. KPLU's Kirsten Kendrick and Nick Morrison discuss blues harmonica in jazz.
