Swine Flu & High School Sports
The people in charge of Michigan's high school sports are closely watching the progress of the swine flu.
State high school athletics officials in Texas and Alabama have postponed all sports events due to the swine flu outbreak.
John Johnson is the spokesman for the Michigan High School Athletic Association. He says spring sports schedules are unchanged for now. Johnson says if students started catching the Swine Flu it could be very disruptive.
"We're coming into a very, very busy window right now with, not only athletic activities, but with all kinds of other end-of-year activities," says Johnson.
