Soldiers preparing to leave for Iraq
Members of the 28th Combat Aviation Brigade participated in a ceremony in Lawton.
Fort Sill spokeswoman Emily Kelley says the soldiers are expected to leave within the next two weeks for Iraq.
Several states are represented in the brigade, including Oregon, Connecticut and Illinois.
The soldiers are trained by the 479th Field Artillery with Chinook and Blackhawk helicopters.

About 1,450 soldiers were honored Thursday during a deployment ceremony at Fort Sill.Members of the 28th Combat Aviation Brigade participated in a ceremony in Lawton.
