Welcome to the DeMiero Jazz Festival! As Artistic Director, my goal is to provide the festival with a well-rounded array of guest artists whose jazz styling is both entertaining and inspiring. In 2013, I am pleased to present some of the best artists on today's jazz scene from coast to coast. The vocal musicians are Carmen Bradford, Deborah Brown, Charenee Wade, and Greta Matassa. The instrumental musicians are Josh Nelson (piano), Jay Leonhart (bass), Alvester Garnett (drums), and Jay Thomas (sax & trumpet). In addition to being seasoned performers, this year's guests artists are also gifted and dedicated clinicians. They each have the ability to create a supportive environment filled with information that will provide you with the tools you need to raise the bar of your performances to the highest level. Come join me and our renowned artists, and let us help you build a solid, informed foundation for creating great jazz music!
