Free Concert - There will be a raffle, for $5 per ticket, for items from AT&T and Josh Abbott, as well as other sponsors. On March 23, 2013, RHA, SGA, and MVP will be hosting an event titled "Wounded Warrior Project Benefit Concert." The purpose of this program is to get local musicians and Texas Tech alumni musicians to put on a concert with all proceeds getting donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. This will be a free concert to students, with a $5 donation encouraged at the gate. With Texas Tech's strong ties to the Military and veterans and partnership from Military and Veterans Programs, we are hoping to donate a large amount of money to the Wounded Warrior Project. This is a registered event with WWP. Come out, bring a blanket and a lawn chair, and have a great time listening to local artists. Bands include: Bentley Massey Band, The Hogg Maulies, Brandon Adams and the Sad Bastards |
