Vietnam's Hill Tribes We're looking for a town in North Vietnam today. It's nestled high up in the Hoang Lien Mountains. These peaks sweep across Vietnam's borders with Laos and China. This mountain town is home to several ethnic groups -- including some known as "the hill tribes." And it's just about a day's ride north of the capital -- Hanoi. That's if you have a motorcycle and can get past muddy roads, bamboo bridges, and steep inclines. We'll get the answer today from an intrepid biker who's been there and back.
