A member of the Phoenix Chapter of the Society for Financial Awareness (SOFA) will present a workshop on estate planning for 2014 and beyond. This is an objective look at the differences between will-based plans and trust-based plans. We will explore the key elements of both and try to decipher who needs which plan. SOFA is a nationwide 501(c)3 nonprofit Educational Speakers Bureau. Their mission is to end financial illiteracy across America, one community at a time. As a Public Benefit Corporation, they are comprised of various financial professionals who volunteer a Pro Bono service to the community by providing various financial topics to companies, churches, and organizations in their geographic locale.
