We are a small 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides scholarships for deserving girls in developing countries to attend school.
We are holding the Second Annual Family Dance Party and Fundraiser on October 13, 2013, at Tranzend (417 W. Santa Fe Ave.), starting at 4 PM. This event is in cooperation with the Flagstaff Freethinkers and the Flagstaff Latin Dance Collective, and will be a really great time! For $10 (per family), participants will get a wonderful meal and non-alcoholic beverage from Café Ole. There will be a dessert bar with goodies for sale donated from Sugar Mama’s and energetic local citizens. We will have Latin dance lessons and demonstrations, African drumming and dancing, and wonderful danceable pop music—for all ages!
In addition to great food and dancing, and information about the girls and our program, we will be holding a raffle of items donated by the business community of Flagstaff, and this is why we are coming to you. We are especially looking for items appropriate for kids, but we most certainly appreciate any item you might care to donate to the cause. We hope you will join us on Sunday, October 13 at 4 PM at Tranzend, for wonderful food, fun and family!
