Saturday night, June 7, the Spirit AeroSystems Rockin’ On the River concert brings Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg to rock downtown Wichita with their critically-acclaimed roadshow tribute to America’s punk heroes, The Ramones. Andrew W.K. will also perforrm.
Austin-based blues/funk soul act Black Joe Lewis will open the show. A closing night extravaganza worthy of Riverfest 2014’s theme, “Hoopla in Doo-Dah!,” will feature a laser light show and the March Forth Marching Band from Portland, Ore. The concert takes place at the Kennedy Plaza Stage.
Admission to all Riverfest concerts is free with a Riverfest button. Adult buttons are $5, and children’s buttons (available while supplies last for kids ages 6-12) are $3. Riverfest buttons will be available at major button retailors (Dillons, QuikTrip, AAA) beginning May 9.
