In conjunction with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra's presentation of Bugs Bunny at the Symphony II, September 28 & 29, the Gallery at Artworks will be featuring the artwork of Chuck Jones (1912 – 2002), the most celebrated director in the history of animation. His classics, that many of us grew up with, featured Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Pepé Le Pew, Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner, Tweety and Sylvester and many more. In a career of almost seventy years, Jones made over 250 films, won four Academy Awards and was nominated for six others. The exhibit will include approximately 40 of Chuck Jones pieces and additional pieces by master animator & director Eric Goldberg. There will be limited edition etchings, giclees on canvas and paper, serigraphs, sericels, and fine art reproductions.
