Pat O'Connor will present a program on Senior Wednesday about African Americans' contribution to the tradition of blues and the music scene in Wichita. The current exhibition, Songs From the Soul, highlights major contributors to the only "true" American musical style:
SONGS FROM THE SOUL contains iconic portraits in America's music history--Jazz, Rhythm & Blues, Gospel, Soul, and Rock and Roll--their influences are found throughout our popular culture and the Civil Rights Movement.
