Voces8 is an internationally known a cappella octet based out of London who is just establishing a following in the US. They perform repertoire ranging from Renaissance polyphony to unique jazz and popular songs and have won a number of awards in European competitions. One feature setting the ensemble apart from others in the popular segment, is their mixed gender format with six male voices and two female. This combination provides an unusual blend of tones and color to the a cappella presentation.
