Last year in Kansas, an estimated 1,990 women were diagnosed with cancer. That’s why, for more than 40 years, the American Cancer Society's Reach to Recovery program has helped women as well as men cope with their breast cancer experience by providing peer-to-peer emotional support to newly-diagnosed breast cancer patients.

The Society is currently recruiting new volunteers for this program, including bilingual volunteers.

Preregistration is required by calling Peggy Cardenas by February 8 at (800) 478-4788 or (316) 265-3471.
