March 19, 6:30PM-8:00PM
Let’s face it, policing is intimidating. You may have a question about policing, but are afraid to ask – especially a police officer. Maybe you are embarrassed or don’t want to take up their time, but you would still like to know. Come and hear two non-police criminal justice practitioners talk about policing, followed by a moderated question and answer session.

Professor Sam Walker, Emeritus - the preeminent scholar in the field of police oversight and author of numerous books and articles on the subject.

Tristan Bonn, J.D. – former Colorado Springs City prosecutor, former Omaha Police Auditor, Criminal Justice adjunct faculty at Buena Vista University.

The forum takes place March 19 from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM at The Thompson Center at UNO, 6705 Dodge Street in Omaha and is open to the public. The event is sponsored by the Omaha Alliance for the Private Sector.
