Abendmusik will host its third annual Music Clinic for choral conductors, organists, singers, handbell conductors and ringers, and church musicians on Saturday, March 9 from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm at First-Plymouth Church, 20th and D Streets in Lincoln and Grace Lutheran Church, 225 Washington Street. The purpose of this educational event is to provide local musicians and choirs opportunities to work with nationally recognized artists in their respective fields. Clinicians include Christopher Aspaas leading choral sessions; Wilma Jensen leading an organ masterclass, Michael Hawn leading session in world music and creative community singing; Rhonda J. Fuelberth leading the children’s choir festival; Kimberlee Strepka leading the handbell clinic; Anne Wilson leading the youth choir festival; and Therees Tkach Hibbard leading sessions in movement. Registration is $30 for full participants, $25 for adults participating in the choir or handbell festival and $10 for youth and children.
