Weir fish running late REESE BAY, AK (kucb) - Since 2001, biologists have counted the number of sockeye salmon escaping through a weir at Reese Bay into McLees Lake. Usually, hundreds of fish have passed through the metal structure by this time, but not this year. KIAL's Anne Hillman went to the weir to check it out.
