Oklahoma City’s own Brightmusic Chamber Ensemble presents a four-concert Spring Music Festival called “The Music of France” on June 12, 14, 15 and 17. The festival features music of Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Hector Berlioz, Camille Saint-Saëns, Oliver Messiaen, Gabriel Fauré and Francis Poulenc among others.
St. Paul’s Cathedral in downtown Oklahoma City hosts the festival.
The evening concerts begin at 7:30 pm and the Sunday afternoon concert takes place at 4:00 pm.
Admission is $15 per concert for adults; students with ID and Brightmusic’s 2013-14 Season Members are free of charge.
A Festival Pass for all four concerts is now available online for $45/person. Festival Passes are also be sold at the door to the first night’s concert.
“The Music of France” is made possible by special grants to Brightmusic from the Kirkpatrick Family Fund, the Ad Astra Foundation, Chesapeake Energy Corporation and the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
