The City of Norman will be releasing compost to Norman residents on Saturday, September 28, from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
There is no charge for those citizens that load the compost themselves. Otherwise, the compost is $10 per scoop, 3 cubic yards or approximately 2,000 pounds, for those residents that request the City to load the compost.
The compost may be picked up at the City of Normanís Compost Facility, which is located south of Highway 9 between Jenkins and Chautauqua at 398 Bratcher Miner Rd. Citizens with questions concerning the compost release may call the Compost Facility at 292-9725 or the Sanitation Division at 329-1023.
