The Oklahoma City Museum of Art hosts an interactive puppet display by Wayne White June 6 through October 6.
White began the installation by creating more than 50 cubist and rodeo inspired drawings and paintings. Meanwhile, White and a crew of artists and craftspeople helped to assemble the interactive sculptures out of wood, cardboard, glue, Styrofoam, mechanical parts, and paint. Visitors will be able to activate each of the three puppet figures -a rodeo bull rider, bronc rider and calf roper -by pulling on the ropes.
Tuesday - Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 12:00 - 5:00 p.m.
