Speeds to be reduced on portions of Jack Finney GREENVILLE (ketr) - The going will be a little slower on one major Greenville thoroughfare. The City Council passed an ordinance Tuesday which requests the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to soon establish reduced speed limits in the expanded areas of Jack Finney Boulevard/Farm-To-Market Road 1570. The ordinance would lower the speed limit from the current 55 miles per hour to 35 miles per hour during certain times of the day in front of the former campus of Paris Junior College. The property is now part of the overall Phoenix Charter School campus.
