Small turnout in first day of early voting GREENVILLE (ketr) - Only a handful of voters so far have taken part in a local rollback election. Early voting for the Oct. 4 Greenville Independent School District rollback election began Wednesday. Less than three dozen total ballots were submitted for the election, which will decide whether the district must reduce its property tax rate six cents for the coming year, or keep the rate at $1.10 per $100 valuation. Early voting continues through Sept. 30 at the Hunt County Voter Administration Office.
