Two arrested in Hunt County shooting
(2008-09-11)
(ketr) - There's been a twist in the progress of an investigation into a Sunday shooting in Hunt County. The Hunt County Sheriff's Office reported it has arrested two suspects in the shooting, including not only the alleged shooter, but also the wife of the victim. A warrant was issued Wednesday for a 45-year-old male on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the shooting of Darryl Cox. The individual has been taken into custody, but his identity has not yet been released pending his scheduled arraignment on the charge. The other suspect, Karen Curtis Cox, was arrested Tuesday and charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution and her bond was set at $25,000.
