Guilty plea entered in Campbell robbery
(2008-09-05)
(ketr) - A guilty plea has been entered in an armed robbery in Campbell. After being indicted on charges of aggravated robbery, Candi Nadiyah Hillard pleaded guilty Thursday to a lesser charge. She has also agreed to testify against her husband, who was the alleged co-actor in the robbery. Under a plea bargain arrangement, Hillard was sentenced to 10 years in prison and agreed to testify truthfully against Thomas Charles Jones. Both were indicted in March in their alleged roles in the armed hold-up of a Campbell store.
