Rollback election in Greenville approaching GREENVILLE (ketr) - Time is running out to get ready to vote for a tax rollback election in Greenville. Thursday is the final day to register to vote in the Greenville Independent School District property tax rollback election, to take place October 4. The District is seeking a tax rate increase of $0.06, which would bring the maintenance and operations tax rate to $1.10 per $100 valuation. Those wishing to participate must register through the Hunt County Voter Administration Office on Washington Street in Greenville.
