Greenville beer barn granted permit
GREENVILLE (ketr) - The decision is in, and Buckaruz Beer Barn in Greenville will be allowed to operate as planned.

Hunt County Judge John Horn announced Thursday he was granting the business the license to sell beer and wine, effective immediately. Horn quote "found no legal basis existed for the denial of the requested permit under current law."

Judge Horn had previously approved a permit for Buckaruz to operate in the Ardis Heights area, but residents appealed the decision to the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC), which in turn referred the matter back to Horn on June 22.
