Blind Pianist And Teen Tie For Cliburn Gold A young, blind pianist from Japan and a newly-turned 19 year-old from China both claimed gold medals in the 13th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. USTR Ron Kirk Heads to Russia Ron Kirk, President Obama's U.S. Trade Representative, has been on the job now two and a half months. Previously the Texas Secretary of State under Governor Anne Richards, and then a 2-term Dallas mayor, he's now headed to Russia on a trade mission.
