Houston, Galveston Get Ready for Ike

Galveston residents are getting ready for their biggest hurricane in a generation. Most have already left town as officials predict Galveston island could be completely submerged, or nearly so, by hurricane Ike. Houstonians are preparing too, by securing windows and gathering food, water and batteries.
KERA's Bill Zeeble talked about the impending storm with senior news Producer Paul Pendergraft, of KUHF, Houston Public radio.
