The state's "tax free shopping" weekend is coming up. This year, lawmakers expanded the eligible items to include many school supplies under 100 dollars.
Things like pencils, paper, book bags and lunch boxes HAD been excluded. Clothing is also tax-exempt. Most sports equipment is NOT.
Tax-free shopping is Friday thru Sunday.
