USTR Ron Kirk Heads to Russia DALLAS, TX (KERA) - Ron Kirk, President Obama's U.S. Trade Representative, has been on the job now two and a half months. Previously the Texas Secretary of State under Governor Anne Richards, and then a 2-term Dallas mayor, he's now headed to Russia on a trade mission. KERA's Bill Zeeble talked to Ambassador Kirk in one of his first radio interviews since his confirmation as trade representative.
