Kansas City’s Coterie Theatre has developed a national reputation for being a fertile breeding ground for new musicals for young audiences. As KCUR’s Steve Walker reports, its latest premiere combines the whimsical setting of Santa’s workshop and the jazzy stylings of Harry Connick, Jr.
