As the year creeps toward a close, the television networks are rebooting all the holiday movies in their hard drives. Top among the list of America's favorites the last quarter-century is the comedy "A Christmas Story," about an Indiana kid's feverish quest for a Red Ryder BB gun.
Last week, a local theater director gathered together a bunch of actors to do a satirical reading of former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin's new book, "Going Rogue."

 Kemper ARTcast Through an audio collaborative, KCUR and the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art will provide listeners with the voices and insights of living artists. Since its opening in 1994, the Kemper Museum has brought more than 100 artists to Kansas City. The collaborative project will present these artists' voices as well as community and curatorial voices to a broad range of listeners.
