Doctor Dies in Plane Crash in Wichita Falls WICHITA FALLS, TX (kccu-fm) - The pilot who died in the crash of a single-engine airplane into the front lawn of a Wichita Falls church has been identified as an opthalmologist.

A statement today from the city's public information office identified the victim as Doctor Jeffrey Harrington of Wichita Falls.

The city statement says the Cessna apparently lost power and crashed Sunday morning near Woodhaven Baptist Church.

The statement says Harrington was believed to have been practicing landings at Kickapoo Downtown Airport in Wichita Falls when the accident happened. © Copyright 2009, kccu-fm
